  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 ½ cup of water, ¼ tsp of salt (optional), 1 tbsp of olive oil or butter (optional) and bring to a boil.
  2. Stir in 1 cup couscous and cover.
  3. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving. Enjoy!


Microwave ovens vary. Adjust time accordingly.
