Now manufactured in the USA, Pearl Couscous conveniently cooks in 10-12 minutes and has a wonderful nutty taste and soft chewy texture. It can be served as a side to any protein, can be added to soups, salads, or can be served as a main dish with pasta sauce and vegetables. Stovetop
- In a medium saucepan, combine 1 ½ cups water, ¼ tsp. salt (optional), and 1 tbsp. olive oil or butter (optional). Bring to a boil.
- Stir in 1 cup pearl couscous and cover with lid. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Fluff with fork and serve.
Yields approximately 2 cups.
